Call for Papers

To continue promoting artificial intelligence in Morocco, MoroccoAI is organizing its first edition of MoroccoAI Annual Conference (MoroccoAI 2021) that will be held from December 21st to 23rd, 2021. It will bring advanced knowledge and recent developments in AI for students, researchers and industry professionals.
We invite submissions to the first edition of MoroccoAI annual conference (MoroccoAI 2021) and welcome papers from all areas of machine learning and deep learning.
All nationalities are welcome, and we particularly encourage Moroccan junior researchers and practitioners of AI to submit.

Technical scope

We consider a broad range of subject areas related to machine learning and deep learning. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • Statistical Machine Learning and Optimization
  • Deep Learning and Neural Networks
  • Natural Language Processing and Darija applications
  • Computer Vision
  • Speech and Signal Processing
  • Ethics and AI for Social Good
  • Computational Biology
  • Datasets and Data Collection for Machine Learning
  • AI Applications for Morocco

Submission guidelines

All papers must be in PDF format and state the research problem, motivation, and technical contribution. Submissions should follow Latex or Word templates, and may be up to 2 pages including all figures and tables, with an additional page for references. Submissions should be in a single column and typesetted using 11-point or larger fonts and have at least 1-inch margin all around. Here is an example of a 2 pages research paper following these guidelines.

Submissions may be previously published, completed, ongoing or planned work. In addition, we highly encourage incoming or junior PhD students to submit research proposals, detailing what they plan to work for their thesis. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least 2 reviewers in the area and accepted papers will be shared on the conference website.
